About The Website

Welcome to the “Outside the Box Experiment” website. I’m glad you’ve decided to explore it. I will be using this website to document various experiments, many of which are outside the realm of ordinary thinking. In addition, I will also be writing articles involving personal development and growth.

I believe we are on this planet to grow. By “grow” I mean we are here to grow more conscious both spiritually and intellectually. Thus this website will focus on living a conscious and growth filled life. I also believe our life’s purpose is to pass on our higher consciousness and knowledge to the future generations.

One of the reasons I have started this website is to help me in my personal growth. As I grow, I intend to pass on those lessons (much like an explorer of a new world passes on a map) to all the people who feel the need to increase their awareness and improve their lives through conscious living. While I will keep track of my experiences and report every detail accurately, I encourage visitors to do their own research and not to take anything communicated through this medium dogmatically. I look forward to growing through this website and I welcome any readers, spectators, participants, or future explorers who want to go on this or similar journeys.

A Little About Me

I’ve always been an explorer. Starting at a young age I was always dashing off on some new adventure. Now I know some kids do some pretty daring things, but if daring things equate to heart attacks for parents, I must have given my family at least a few hundred. I have an adventurous spirit, which could be genetic. I say this because my father left the communist country of Romania when I was six months old by crossing the Danube River in early winter. If you are not familiar with the Danube, it’s not just another placid river. This river has whirlpools, underwater currents, and is freezing cold in winter. And my father was daring enough to cross it. Yikes!

Now as for my own adventures, I remember when I was five; I snuck out of my aunt’s house and traveled thirty miles using public transportation to see a Disney cartoon movie. On the way back, I stopped off in the local park to get some cotton candy and got caught up in the fair that was in town. I was gone for six hours. When I came back, my mom nearly crucified me. The field trip was still worth it!

I haven’t stopped exploring since then and I’ve realized that a lot of things we are taught by our parents, the media, the government, and society are not necessarily the best things for us as individuals. No one questions this however, because if the masses are all in it together, then whatever we are doing must be right. I’ve decided to break apart from the “group think” and explore other options.

Am I crazy? Not at all, but people look at me like I’m bonkers, when I tell them about the things I want to try or do. That or they say, “Good luck with that, buddy” in a sarcastic tone. I can’t say I blame them. What we’ve been taught is heavily ingrained in our minds and it would take a sledge hammer to break most people out. I intend to be that sledge hammer; I intend to help as many people as possible lead happy, healthy, productive, and conscious filled lives.
